TransGaming Appoints Blake Lewin, To Lead GameTree.tv Digital Home Division

TransGaming is pleased to announce the appointment of Blake Lewin as President of TransGaming's GameTree.tv digital home division. Blake Lewin was most recently the VP of Media & Entertainment at Turner Broadcasting and is renowned as the creator of GameTap, the first-of-its-kind broadband entertainment network. As President of the digital home division Blake will lead the design, development, and commercialization of GameTree.tv, the comprehensive on-demand games platform providing consumers with constant access to a broad range of video games through their connected consumer electronic devices.

TransGaming's GameTree.tv Gaming Platform was formally revealed to the global consumer market at the world's largest Consumer Electronics Show (CES) this January. The GameTree.tv Platform is powered by the Intel® Media Processors to deliver a comprehensive on-demand gaming service optimized for the new Intel CE devices. The Platform offers consumers a rich catalogue of games, providing OEMs and service providers with a compelling turn-key revenue model for their new Intel powered connected devices, coming to homes in 2010.

TransGaming Collaborates with Intel to Bring GameTree.tv Home

TransGaming Inc. (TSX-V: TNG) today announced a strategic collaboration with Intel Corporation to support TransGaming's on-demand gaming service, GameTree.tv. The GameTree.tv Service will deliver a comprehensive on-demand gaming solution optimized for HD TV through the next generation of consumer electronics (CE) devices based on Intel® CE Media Processors. TransGaming today also announced that Intel Capital, Intel's global investment organization, has made an investment in TransGaming. Intel Capital's investment will be used to accelerate TransGaming's development of the GameTree.tv Service, which is expected to be commercially available in Q2 2010.
